THE STORY Myers Capital established in 1998 originally as a commercial real estate lender, serving clients who qualified for some of the most competitive rates. Occasionally clients would ask for a home mortgage, where we in turn began a relationship with an investor who would reward these high quality loan requests with extremely low rates. Depending on the size of the loan, you could have no closing costs, at rates comparable to what other lenders are offering with closing costs. For over 10 years now, we have partnered with this investor to bring the absolute lowest mortgage rates to South Carolina. The equation is simple: we bring them the highest-quality borrowers and they issue rates a quarter to a half percent lower than any other lender or bank. EDUCATION Even the smartest people we deal with can get confused by constantly- changing rates, but we explain it so that they understand. We have college professors ask us to educate their classes; we take an educational approach, to make sure our clients can make an educated decision.
